Whether it’s fashion stereotypes or traditions, there are just a few colours in our wardrobe that we wear to weddings from the different shades of pinks to the reds. But did you know there are different ways to wear these colours? The wedding season is right around the corner and we bet you’re also looking around for a few sartorial options.

To make things easier, we spoke to three different fashion designers who went on to share a few fun and easy ways to re-wear these traditional colours but with a twist – from red to orange, take cues from these designers.

Sarita Singh Rawat, Founder & Director of Deebaco went on to share tips on styling pink and purple. She said, “If you find yourself in a style block, experimenting with new colour combinations is a terrific way to freshen up you’re clothing. Purple and pink aren’t commonly matched together in women’s fashion, but these two gorgeous colours may be mixed to create some elegant outfits that are guaranteed to lift your spirits.

Speaking of pink, you can “style a pink blazer with purple high waisted pants and a white satin top with silver studs and heels, you are all set to go! You can even style a lavender co-ord set, with cute pink heels, this look is fun, cool, and so trendy! Co-ord set with comfort and style is a win win! Many brands like Deebaco offers a great style in co-ord sets in quality and comfort.”

Red is everyone’s favourite, but how to wear this vibrant shade without making it look too jazzy? Seema Kalavadia, Founder & Designer of Sims Designer studio went on to share:

1) The elegant draped red saree – Draped sarees are in this festive season! Adorn a beautiful, draped saree with a red full-sleeved V-neck minimal embroidered blouse and make those heads turn!

2) A beautiful red suit- A red suit is a classic attire to go for! It gives us just the right feels and is the go-to festive pick. Pair it up with your favourite heels and minimal earrings and you are good to go.
