If we had to guess, we’d say that hygge moments are one of your guilty pleasures. Luckily, this cozy fireside elopement in the mountains of Montana is filled with just that! Robyn and Kai’s intimate ceremony was moved inside due to a blizzard, but tbh, the snow-capped field views can’t really be beat! Especially when viewed from a spot beside the warm glow of a crackling fire, foraged fall blooms cascading organically around. This fairytale elopement was made possible through an incredibly generous giveaway from the vendor team, which had the talented Soiree 99 Events at the helm. The style was relaxed, cabin chic and rich in seasonal colors. Robyn and Kai were married at Oro Ranch in a tiny resort town- Condon, Montana on October 18, 2020. After a long year of constant wedding postponements, a team of kind hearted Western Montana vendors decided to come together and giveaway an elopement to a deserving couple.
We asked couples to tell us their love stories– how they were impacted by the pandemic and why this elopement would mean so much to them. How quick of a turn around you ask?! Less than a month. ?
After being overwhelmed with over FORTY entries from all over the country, we landed on the love story of Robyn and Kai– a sweet couple from California who had just had their third child a few months back and were both in the health care field being overwhelmed with work and no time or funds to get married.
Much to our lovely (and not so atypical Montana surprise), we had our first blizzard of the season roll in that weekend– which led to a last minute ceremony and dinner party move to inside the main lodge on the property.
While we were bummed to lose the views, we took advantage of the cozy feel and FILLED the room with candlelight. The combination of the overall design led to our delightful surprise — a rustic, fairy tale romance.
