Blair and Mason’s disco fever wedding in Dallas has the holy trinity of design details: jewel toned velvet bridesmaid dresses, pampas grass floral pillars and a multi-layered palette of pinks + reds juxtaposed with matte black decor. Autumn wedding bliss! Charla Storey captures the spirit of the day as only she can, capturing every sweet tear-jerking moment, while simultaneously finding the perfect frame of vibrant colors and meaningful details. Speaking of, it was KC Cloud Events who brought those very details to life! From the burgundy palette inspired by the couple’s alma mater to the disco ball escort cards leading everyone to the party, Blair + Mason’s wedding turned the volume up on fun. So it’s no surprise that fluffy grasses and jam-colored blooms from Venus and Co created visual markers for guests from the intimate chapel ceremony to the strobe lit dance party. Join us below as we peruse Blair and Mason’s wedding story in full!
From the Planner, KC Cloud Events: Blair and Mason chose their venue for its indoor-outdoor spaces and they transformed the blank canvas with an autumnal color palette that also paid homage to their alma mater’s signature color: burgundy. The couple got married in the intimate chapel, then moved outside for cocktail hour. For the reception, long tables were set with floral or deep red linens, and a mix of centerpieces. It was a formal setting but the couple wanted the guests to feel at home, so they served fried chicken family-style. The night ended with a party under an installation of disco balls—which was hinted at with mini versions accompanying the escort cards! Light up floral crowns and party sticks were passed around, people popped into the photo booth, and the bride changed into a fringe covered ensemble for dancing and the sparkler send-off!
