After sharing glimpses from their grand haldi ceremony, bride Athiya Shetty dropped some more pictures from their wedding festivities and they are too beautiful to miss. The pictures are from the Murthasese ceremony. The ceremony is a must-do tradition that is performed on the day of the wedding at the home of the bride. The ritual is performed by the bride’s family and the groom’s parents.
Athiya drops new wedding pics
On Saturday (Janauary 28), Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty took to Instagram to share mesmerising pictures from her pre-wedding festivities. In the first picture, she can be seen getting showered with flower petals as she is seen surrounded by bridesmaids. For the occasion, she opted for a golden silk saree teamed up with a pink blouse, a couple of heavy neckpieces, bangles, a pair of earrings, and subtle makeup. With henna-clad hands, she can be seen smiling and enjoying the moments of her wedding.
In the second picture, Athiya’s mother can be seen performing a ritual and blessing Athiya for her upcoming journey with KL Rahul. She can also be seen hugging her papa Suniel Shetty.

Earlier, the newlywed dropped pictures from their haldi ceremony where they can be seen drenched in turmeric and sandalwood paste. They are also seen covered in marigold flowers. The next picture shows Athiya’s outfit, a peach and pink suit with golden details.

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty exchanged nuptial vows at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. After the wedding, Suniel spoke to photographers and revealed that the couple is married and their wedding reception will take place after IPL 2023.
