Brock Collection Created an Exclusive Bridal Capsule for Over the Moon

Brock Collection creates the kind of clothing you envision yourself running through a field in. Running through a field, attending another era’s garden party, sitting pretty in an exquisitely embroidered coat. And now, Brock Collection is creating clothing to be worn while walking down the aisle.

For their first venture into bridal, Brock Collection has teamed up with leading bridal e-commerce site, Over The Moon. The 15 piece capsule collection is a mix of bridal gowns, ready-to-wear, and beautiful hair bows. Though, in this capsule, what constitutes bridal versus ready-to-wear is really up to the bride.

When thinking about creating non-traditional wedding dresses, Brock Collection approached it from the angle of what brides want now, all rules aside. Laura Vassar, Brock Collection’s Co-Founder, tells T&C “I think people are done with fussy and overly formal. At the end of the day (literally) you want to look and feel good. For a bride, your wedding day is one of the longest days of your life so you need to be comfortable and able to enjoy it.”

To allow brides to enjoy the day as much as possible, each garment from the Brock Collection x Over The Moon capsule is constructed with a couture-like exactitude. One of Vassar’s favorites, the Devon dress, was created using hand-pleated ruffles that are expertly placed along the body of the dress to accentuate the wearer’s figure. Additionally, the silhouettes, fabrics, and prints are created to be versatile, and can be worn for all the different events surrounding a wedding, the wedding itself, or afterwards – be it on the honeymoon or in the years to follow. Because why not be a hopeless romantic every day?
