Burghduff, Larry “Liquid” “Legend” A.

Larry “Liquid” “Legend” A. Burghduff, age 46 of the Town of Pella, Shawano County passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.

Larry was born on December 23, 1975 in Shawano. He grew up in the Pella area where he was confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and later graduated from Marion High School in 1995. Larry worked for Aarrowcast in Shawano out of high school and was currently employed at Glover Metal Buildings based out of Kingston, WI. As a young man his second home was the Jeff and Linda Cowden farm. Although he was their nephew, Jeff and Linda treated him as their own son and the Cowden boys became his brothers. Larry was united in marriage to Tracey Skalla on September 8, 2007 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Caroline. The couple shared a unique bond; perhaps one that stemmed from their wedding day when the minister called them by the wrong names the entire day. That was Larry though, he never let things bother him. He always took time to help; whether building something or helping a friend or neighbor on the farm. So much so that he often left his “honey do” list from Tracey unfinished. For the past seven years or so, Larry was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Big Falls. Larry’s daughters were everything to him. Whether he was coaching their softball games or taking them hunting, Larry always looked forward to quality father/daughter time. His sense of humor was non-stop around his buddies and really shined when he was with Tracey and the girls.

Survivors include: his loving wife, Tracey; daughters, Aurora and Quinn Burghduff; mother, Janice Willman; mother-in-law, Karen Crown; father-in-law, Dennis (Susan) Skalla; sister, Barbara Willman; brother, Kevin (Angelia) Willman Jr.; brother-in-law, Steven (Karyn) Skalla; nephews: Benjamin, Weston, and Owen. His second family: Linda Cowden and her sons, Jeffrey, James (Chrystal), and Joseph (fiancée Alivia) Cowden. Larry was preceded in death by his father Kevin Willman Sr.; maternal grandparents, Allan and Karen Zalewski; his uncle and father Jeff Cowden, and his “bonus father-in-law” Terry Crown.

Larry always told his family that when he passed away he wanted to have one last beer with his friends, so please join them in celebrating his life at Northwinds Banquet Hall in Marion on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. Pastor Kay Knight will begin the evening with a prayer at 4 p.m. Larry was not a flower guy but in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established by his family. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory of Marion is assisting his family. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
