NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his fiancee Brittany Matthews got hitched recently. The celebrity sports couple shared photos on social media of their lavish Hawaiian wedding. The newly married pair tied the knot and exchanged their vows with family members and friends. Both Mahomes and Matthews shared their lovely family photo with their 1-year old daughter Sterling Skye on social media.

The couple started dating each other in high school when they were in Texas. Matthews received a proposal from Mahomes following 7 months of his maiden Super Bowl victory in the 2020 season.

The ceremony saw Mahomes’ brother Jackson Mahomes fulfilling the honorable role of being Patrick’s best man at his wedding.

Mahomes’ engagement proposal was very elaborate and happened during Matthews’ 25th birthday in September 2020. He had popped the question in a suite filled with rose petals and light-sign reading “Will You Marry Me?” The pair of Mahomes and Matthews have been going strong for nearly a decade and only solidified their vows for life.

The Hawaiian-style ceremony looked incredible and had some of his Kansas City teammates on the guest list. Even Mahomes’ Chiefs best friend Travis Kelce was also a groomsman. While Matthews had Kelce’s girlfriend, Kayla Nicole as a bridesmaid. Their one-year-old daughter Sterling was the flower girl for their ceremony.
