Originally inspired by royalty, Dana Harel’s Acqua Collection for spring summer 2023, was designed using classic European silhouettes twisted with a Mediterranean feel, to reflect the power of the sea. From the intricate sequin detail beautifully worked to resemble coral, to the layers of silk and tulle on high-low skirts, reminiscent of powerful waves, these exquisite dresses are a celebration of life, creativity and freedom. The campaign was shot on a beach in Israel, where the brand’s eponymous designer hails from, and the natural light and shimmering sea made it the ideal setting to show off the luminescence of the gowns, embellished with pearls, beads, and Swarovski crystals. You can imagine what your own bridal portraits might look like on a sunny day. The geometrical patterns contrast the romantic feeling of the looks to give each one an edgy touch. With 11 gorgeous pieces featuring corsets, ball gowns, mermaid gowns and embroidered tulle, the Acqua collection is a beautiful mixture of modern and historical silhouettes.
