Deborah Sue Aurandt, 67, who grew up in Williamsburg, passed away Thursday at her residence in Duncansville after a yearlong battle with lung cancer.

Surviving is her husband of 46 years, Kenneth Aurandt Sr. He and Debbie were very near celebrating their 47th wedding anniversary. Also surviving are their three children: Rochelle Erickson, 49, (Stuart Valentine) of Hollidaysburg; Kenneth Aurandt Jr., 45, of Duncansville; and Joshua Aurandt, 39, (Christina Hanson Aurandt) of Duncansville; four grandchildren: Tia, 30, and Kaitlin McNight, 27, of Lacrosse, Wis., and Todd, 4, and Mica Aurandt, 3 months, of Duncansville; her brother, Timothy Espenlaub Sr. (Elizabeth) of Saxton; a niece, Daphne Espenlaub of Roaring Spring; and nephew, Timothy Espen­laub Jr. of Laurel, Del.; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Clair Farringer of Williamsburg; her son, Todd Aurandt of Williamsburg; a special sister, Mary (Hope) Auker; and several other siblings.

She enjoyed the small things like listening to country music and spending time with her family.
