‘Don’t spend a crazy amount’

A bride-to-be shared the easiest way to make a cheap but elegant seating chart.

TikToker Nicole Stratton didn’t want to waste a ton of money on her wedding seating chart. It’s definitely not something anyone will use after the ceremony, and it’s not like it affects any of the guests’ experience either. She came up with a simple solution to create the seating chart she wanted without dropping a pretty penny.

“Brides: just trust me and don’t spend a crazy amount on a seating chart, people are going to look at it once and then move on to the next thing i promise,” the caption read.

Stratton printed out her wedding seating chart for a mere $5 at Staples. The large 24-inch-by-36-inch frame was only $15. For $20, she was able to create a functional seating chart that would fit right in with her wedding theme. Not to mention it’s better for the environment since you can reuse the frame after the ceremony.

“I designed it myself on Canva but there are a ton of templates like this on Etsy,” Stratton added in the comments.

People praised the bride’s simple, affordable idea.

“I have been trying to figure out a way to do my seating chart! THANK YOU!” a person commented.

“I also did this. So much cheaper and then you can use the frame after. Less waste!” another wrote.

“Omg thank you! My wedding is in July and I needed cheap ideas,” someone added.

“Wait this is amazing,” a user replied.

“This is awesome after I saw this I got the this same exact frame and I also got the colour of our wedding In flowers to glue in the corner,” a TikToker said.
