Edward Enninful and Alec Maxwell are Married, See Their Wedding Photos

British Vogue’s Edward Enninful and Alec Maxwell are married. Edward is the editor-in-chief of the magazine and European editorial director of Condé Nast. On the other hand, Alec plays the role of editor and creative director at British Vogue.

During an interaction with the media, Enninful stated that he went all out to propose to his partner Alec and we can surely take some tips from him. The pair had been planning their wedding for a while now.

Edward took to his Instagram handle to share the great news with his fans all over the world. “Three weeks ago, before the world turned on its head again, I was lucky enough to experience the greatest personal joy I have ever known. I got married to my long term partner Alec Maxwell”, he captioned the post.

The 50-year-old posted a couple of photos from one of the most special days of their lives. Both of them look their best in black and white pantsuits.

In the photos, shared by the fashion icon we can see that the two are so in love with each other. In one shot, Alec is giving a sweet peck to the love of his life on the cheek. In another picture, Maxwell is just staring at his partner with a big smile on his face.

Edward and Alec tied the knot on the occasion of Edward’s 50th birthday on February 22, 2022, at Longleat House in Wiltshire, England. Many celebs like Rihanna, Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, Karlie Kloss, and Naomi Campbell attended the wedding of the pair.

The duo got hitched in a lavish ceremony that must have cost have nearly £600,000. Edward and Alec said their vows in the picturesque Orangery in the grounds of Longleat House, in Wiltshire. The 16th-century home of Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath, and her husband, the 8th Marquess was the venue of their extravagant wedding.

The pair’s close friend Emma let them use her house as a venue for their special day. If an ordinary couple wants to get their hands on Emma’s historic place then they will have to pay a minimum of £13,800.

As per the close reports, the flowers present at the wedding alone cost around  £250,000.  Royal florist Simon Lycett handled the flower arrangements of the wedding. The wedding celebrations of Edward and Alec went on till Wednesday with a ‘morning after lunch’ at The Bath Arms.

 

Holly Moore, CEO, and founder of Make Events expressed his view on the budget of the wedding. He said, ‘I would estimate this would be in the region of £1million to 1.5million because when it comes to dream weddings, they also have the dream price tag.’
