Romance was in the air for James and Esmé’s rustic garden wedding celebration hosted on the bride’s family farm in Co. Tipperary. It was love at first sight for James when the pair met in secondary school, and 16 years later the couple tied the knot in a picture perfect church ceremony before returning to the farm for the reception. The sentimental location was all the more special as the couple got engaged in the garden, have been living in a house there for the last four years, and the bride’s brother and sister, both said their own ‘I dos’ there as well, as did her parents! Talented videography team, Dreamcatcher Productions, captured the entire day from the emotional speeches by their loved ones, their storybook-style photoshoot in historical ruins and trips to visit Esme’s beloved ponies in their stables.
Our glowing bride wore a layered, ruffled tulle strapless gown with a chic, detachable element, perfect for transitioning from day to night. Esmé’s bridesmaids wore coordinating champagne dresses with gorgeous gold sequin detailing. This worked wonderfully with the table décor which was all done by the bride with help from her mum and sister Serena, who gathered elements throughout the year, so it would all be ready for when the marquee went up. A lot of work – but worth every minute. Finishing off their night with a bang, the couple gave their guests sparklers which made for an impressive photoshoot backdrop.
