Evelin Villegas confused 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers by posting several behind-the-scenes photos of her and Corey Rathgeber doing their wedding preparations before they get married in the finale. After weeks of being upset with Corey for cheating on her with Jenny, Evelin has agreed to go ahead with the ceremony. Fans are not as curious about Corey and Evelin getting married as they are about their 90 Day Fiancé co-stars Armando Rubio and Kenny Niedermeier or even Alina and Steven Johnston. Evelin and Corey kept their 2019 wedding a secret, and she is continuously looking for ways to get divorced. Besides, Evelin being excited about the ceremony on her Instagram page is rare as she’s previously hinted at a breakup with Corey.

When Corey and Evelin were announced as the cast members for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, not many looked forward to watching them. Some fans were aware that the couple was already married, and some felt scammed when Corey and Evelin finally revealed it. Corey and Evelin indulged in a fair bit of drama on social media too. Ecuador native Evelin called her husband a “lying coward” and insulted Jenny by saying she was “usable” and a “side chick.” She further claimed that a 90 Day Fiancé producer had “blindsided” her and made “weak” Corey do things on camera that she wanted to keep private.
But this time, Evelin used her Instagram page not to embarrass Corey but rather to hint at her being happy with him. Evelin ended up sharing happy memories of when she was planning her second marriage with Corey. Although Evelin’s Instagram page remains private, her 187,000-plus followers were treated to her telling them that she’s “never been a fan of weddings but it’s not impossible to fall in love with all the fairytale things” that her wedding planners arranged for their “dream wedding.” Evelin and Corey smiled and posed for their pictures with the celebrity wedding planner, Carolina Muzo, who worked with Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes.
While Corey was taken aback at the possible cost of their wedding being around $50,000 on the show, he seemed pleased in the photos with Carolina. Evelin couldn’t stop gushing over “the beautiful Ecuadorian flowers, the desserts that looked like art and taste amazing” in the photos from the day they went to pick everything from the chairs to the tables. She called Carolina “the best wedding planner ever,” and Evelin shockingly praised husband Corey for being amazing with the planning and telling him, “You are the only person that I could ever do this with.” To her 90 Day Fiancé fans, Evelin’s message was, “Can’t wait to show you more, it’s gonna blow your minds.”
It’s easy to see that Corey is trying his best to keep Evelin happy and eventually agreed to use Carolina’s expensive services even though he was skeptical of spending “fifty to sixty thousand dollars on a wedding in a third-world country.” However, fans haven’t forgotten the meltdown Evelin had over Jenny, and some also accused her and Corey of doing the drama for TV. The fact that Evelin’s sister, who doesn’t want them to get married, is the officiant is already being called a scripted plot. And considering Evelin and Corey are still together despite her blaming him for not signing their divorce papers, an equal number of 90 Day Fiancé viewers feel either confused or happy for the dysfunctional duo and their miraculous wedding.
