Grateful for getting back his wedding ring | News, Sports, Jobs

Bouquet: To the lady who picked up the ring at Walgreens on Wednesday and turned it in: Thank you!

Thank you, also, to the Walgreens’ team and manager who stored it away in their safe. It was my wedding ring and I noticed it missing upon returning home and finishing some snow shoveling. We had been to numerous stores shopping and I was at a complete loss in knowing where to begin to look! My wife’s call to our last stop, Walgreens, and received the prompt response: “Yes, we have it, the manager has it in our safe.”

I do not know the lady who found it but a large, heartfelt “thank you” goes out to her and to Walgreens. The ring may only be a piece of jewelry, but its symbolic value to me is inestimable as my wife and I will celebrate our 55th anniversary this coming January.

When you live in Iron Mountain among its people, Christmas miracles do indeed happen.
