During an estate sale a Hornell family accidentally sold an heirloom wedding dress and now they want it back.

Judy Lamb mistakenly sold her mother’s dress for $25 and is asking for help in getting it back for her niece who wanted to wear her grandmother’s gown.

Lamb has posted on Facebook looking for help, saying a miscommunication led to the dress being sold.

Lamb and her brothers hired an estate agent to sell items in the home and the dress was accidentally included.

If anyone knows where the dress is, or has it and wants to make an arrangement to return it, they can reach the family at [email protected] or [email protected] or call 607-239-7600.
