Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Linda) Howell of North Benton recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were wed Dec. 1, 1971 by the Rev. Raymond Biddle during a ceremony at Westville Congregational Christian Church (Community Bible Church) in Beloit.
The former Ms. Cameron is a homemaker. Mr. Howell has been a bus driver with the West Branch Local School District for over 30 years. They are members of Community Bible Church and were advisors of the Creative Clovers 4-H Club in North Benton for many years.
The couple has seven children, Arlinda (John) Greenfield, Erin (Dave) Rauch, Tami (Dwight) Johnson, Dorla Beth (Rhett) Burns, Matt (Starlon) Howell, Kevin Howell and Becky (Brian) Pinkerton; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration with family and friends was held Nov. 27 at the Log Cabin at Silver Park.
