I ordered a wedding dress from Wish but it was a total fail

A BRIDE-TO-BE was mortified after her Wish wedding dress arrived completely see-through.

Looking to plan her wedding on a budget, one woman who posts under the username @yolaholacola, decided to order a gown from Wish.

There, the bride-to-be stumbled upon a stunning white dress with a lacy top half and immediately bagged the number.

However, little did Yolaholacola know she would be in for a surprise upon receiving the parcel from the China-based retailer.

Rather than an elegant dress that would make heads turn, the woman – believed to be from the US – ended up with a total disaster.

Posing with the dress in a video, the TikTok user demonstrated just how see-through the cheap material was.

In fact, the gown was so thin, you could see her black undergarments peeking through.

To make matters even worse, it wasn’t particularly flattering either – although many insisted it was simply too small for her body.

However, despite being horrified at the fail, social media users were of two opinions.

Whilst some reckoned it was not fit to her style, others agreed with Yolaholacola.

One fan of the wedding number said: ”It looks same but wrong size I think. Beautiful dress.”

Someone else added: ”I don’t think it’s bad honestly just too small?”

”people are saying wrong size and completely ignoring the fact that it’s see through,” a third commented.

”they did you wrong def misleading,” another person wrote.

After being met with harsh remarks, Yolaholacola hit back at all the meanies who thought she was too big for the dress.

”The material is very sheer, I went up two sizes and the quality is terrible.

”Yes it’s only meant for women who look like the picture.”

Yolaholacola is not the only woman whose big day turned out to be extra stressful.

To make sure she would make heads turns, one bride decided to get her make-up done by a professional – but despite forking out a fortune, it didn’t quite meet her expectations.

Haley Films, from Hawaii, claimed she had paid a whopping $300 (£246) for glam make-up.

”I am a perfectionist and didn’t wanna stress about doing it on my wedding,” she said.

According to the young woman, who shared the fail on TikTok, there were several things that were wrong, for instance the skin prep – or the lack of it.

”They didn’t even do any skin prep or use the right foundation shade on me,” she explained to her followers in the video.

Disappointed with what she had left the studio with, Haley described the look as ”ugly” and it appeared that viewers were on the same page.

Although they did not think it was too bad, many reckoned she had been overcharged for the relatively simple make-up.

Some even said that it looked like something she could’ve easily done herself, with one writing: ”that would be quite nice if you did that yourself on Sunday evening.”

Another agreed, writing: ”It’s not awful but for $300 that should be illegal.”

Whilst a TikTok user said they would pay just $50 (£41) for this make-up, someone else believed Haley had every right to sue the guru behind this masterpiece.

After complaining to the owner of the salon, Haley managed to get the guru to fix the disaster – and fortunately, things worked out in the end.

”I was so happy. Came out way better.”
