NORTHAMPTONSHIRE, ENGLAND: James and Nikki Roadnight were left flabbergasted when Keanu Reeves made a surprise cameo at their wedding and became the ‘cherry on the top’ of their big day on Monday, August 26 in Northamptonshire.

Now, the lucky couple revealed they are being recognized due to the chivalry act of the ‘John Wick’ actor but joked it hasn’t changed them as people. While gushing on the humble and charismatic actor, James and Nikki sat down for a conversation with Good Morning Britain, where they admitted that the dazzling appearance made by Reeves was ‘the cherry on top’ of their big day.

They explained, “We heard there was a special guest staying. We found him in the courtyard at the back so I introduced myself and asked for some photos. He ate his dinner and then he came over an hour later. I said, ‘welcome to our wedding, would you like a drink?’ He said he was happy to pose for pictures with the guests and he said yeah no problem. He was so humble and charismatic.”

James added, “He is one of our favorites, we have been fans for ages. The reaction has been mad it’s gone global! We can’t believe it, it’s been insane. The wedding was amazing as it was but having him there was the cherry on top. It hasn’t changed us as people but people do keep coming up to us! I’m just a normal guy.”
The lucky incident happened when James spotted the ‘Matrix’ actor in the bar of Fawsley Hall hotel where his wedding with Nikki was taking place. Without missing a chance, James informed the actor about the impending nuptials at the same venue and invited him to his wedding. Reeves, often dubbed one of the “world’s nicest men”, agreed to come by in the evening.

Despite having an urgent flight later that night, Keanu made time for the couple and congratulated them at their wedding venue. Taking to Twitter, Nikki shared images of the newlyweds with the ‘Matrix’ star. “Had the most amazing weekend!! #married #dreamwedding #keanureeves #fawsleyhall,” she tweeted.
This was not the first time Reeves crashed someone’s wedding. Keanu, who has made a name for himself as a celebrity wedding crasher, has not once but twice pulled off the stunt before. Back in August 2018, Keanu photobombed couple Moray and Maura as he stumbled across the pair on the sidewalk after their New York City ceremony. Later that same year, he turned up at Dream Inn in Santa Cruz, California, where he attended the wedding of Leslie and her husband Jarrod, whose mum Darlette is a ‘huge’ fan.
