It was the first Christmas Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck shared since their wedding this summer, and J.Lo was more than happy to share a glimpse of her holiday home with fans on Instagram. The 53-year-old actress was wearing bright blue satin for the season, a knee-length dress with a bow sash at the waist, white cuffs and a collar.
The dress was printed with bright red flowers and bow ties and she wore a bold red lip to match. She had her hair up in an elegant updo, and was wearing statement earrings shaped like white daisies. On her feet were a pair of glittering red Mary Jane heels.
“Merry Christmas!!!!” she captioned the image on Instagram, which she shared with her 230 million followers.
Visible in the pictures was a gorgeous Christmas tree covered generously with silver tinsel, while statement decorations on the tree co-ordinate with the vibrant blue of her dress.
Behind her, a traditional fireplace can be seen, which has been hung with charming embroidered stockings featuring Christmas scenes and the names of different family members.
In a close-up selfie, also included in the post, Jennifer stands in front of an elaborately set dining table which has been decorated for Christmas dinner.
The star opted for a classic red and green colour scheme for the tablescape. Tartan napkins were tied with string bows, including what appears to be snowflake shaped iced biscuits. Meanwhile red wine glasses line the table alongside an impressive floral centrepiece surrounded by ferns.
