Johanna Konta married her long-term boyfriend Jackson Wade at a London ceremony two weeks ago, seven months after announcing their engagement.

The professional tennis player, 30, looked ethereal in a white Max Mara wedding dress and cardigan while clutching a matching bunch of roses outside a church.

Her film producer and photographer husband cut a dapper figure in a blue suit and a black bow-tie as he put on a warm display with the British number one.

Taking to Instagram to share the adorable snaps, Joanna wrote in her caption: ‘Two weeks of being a Mrs.’

The Ellesse spokesperson revealed she was to marry her long-term boyfriend Jackson – and showed off the huge sparkler that sealed the deal – in May.

Sharing two photos to her social media accounts, Joanna confirmed the news that the couple are to wed, saying: ‘Several weeks ago, I woke up 30 and engaged’.

Joanna has been dating Jackson, who owns his own media business, for several years and the pair share a home together in London.

Joanna revealed the proposal, on her 30th birthday on May 17, had been a ‘semi-surprise’. A second photo posted offered fans a closer look at the vintage-looking diamond ring.

Eagle-eyed fans had already spotted the sparkler as she arrived in May to play at the French Open, where she was knocked out in the first round.  

The Sydney-born-star told the Independent that she was half expecting the romantic gesture from Jackson.

She said: ‘It was a semi-surprise. I wouldn’t say I was completely shocked. 

‘I kind of expected it once the present came into my hand, I was like, “OK, I think this could be a ring”‘. 

She added: ‘It was all done with lots of love and it’s something that I’ll always think back on. It was really lovely.’

The couple share a home in London with their two dachshunds, Bono – named after the U2 frontman, and Gizmo.
