ORLANDO, Fla. — Judith Ann Chabut, passed on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022. She was 82.
Judy, as her friends lovingly called her, was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Youngstown, to Jess and Beverly Martin.
Judy passed away in Orlando, Florida, with her three children by her side: LaReine Chabut of California, David Chabut of Georgia and Laura Stanley of Florida.
As a floral designer, Judy liked arranging flowers for her church week after week. She also got to share her love by doing the flowers at her daughter’s wedding and the weddings of some of her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her only sister, Marlene Decenso of Austintown.
Judy’s greatest joy was spending time with family and her many grandchildren: Dara, Danielle, Dayna Rey, Ashli, David Jess, Isabella, Sofia, Casey, Blake, Joshua and Jordan.
A memorial service was held at the Spring of Life United Methodist Church in Orlando, Florida, a place where Judy found a community of many friends.
Pastor Mike Luzinski spoke about how Judy used her love of flowers to bless the lives of other people.
Judy is survived by her former spouse, Lee Chabut.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
