Krishna Mukherjee dresses as the perfect Parsi bride for their post-wedding grand Parsi dinner

Krishna Mukherjee, the actress from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, married Chirag Batliwalla today in Goa (March 13). In the presence of family and friends, the couple exchanged vows against the lovely backdrop of the setting sun.
For the evening, the couple donned their best Parsi outfits for the grand Parsi dinner, Krishna wore a modernized Parsi Gara and Chirag chose the classic kurta and Dhugli with a bow and their traditional big black feta. The couple looked absolutely stunning in their traditional attire. Krishna’s white thread saree was a modern take on their traditional Gara with a sling blouse.

For the wedding, the couple were dressed in red and white. Krishna, who was born in Bengal, donned a mukut (traditional headgear), whereas Chirag wore a topor. Krishna wore a lehenga, which consisted of a red blouse and a white skirt. The groom remarked on her white sherwani and red dupatta. Krishna and Chirag had a Bengali wedding followed by a Parsi dinner (Reception party) blending both cultures.
