‘I hope she’s watching’: Kristen Stewart hopes Diana would be happy with biopic

Congratulations are in order for Kristen Stewart.
The “Twilight” actress, 31, revealed during her appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” Tuesday that she is engaged to her longtime girlfriend and screenwriter, Dylan Meyer.
“We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,” Stewart told Howard Stern in the interview. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”
She also discussed her wedding plans, saying she wants to keep it “chill.”
“I want to stay home. I want to be in L.A. so everyone can come and … I want it to be pretty chill. I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles like we’re just gonna stand, do vows,” she said, and of course “party after.”

She also said she doesn’t plan on wearing a traditional wedding dress, but rather “the best pair of Levi’s ever, an old T-shirt that has a tuxedo printed on it.”
“I want to see her laugh hysterically when she sees me in a faux tuxedo T-shirt.”
USA TODAY has reached out to Stewart’s reps for comment.
Stewart and Meyer made headlines when they were seen kissing in multiple paparazzi photos in 2019 and became Instagram official in October 2019, when Meyer shared a black-and-white photograph of the two kissing.
“Find me under the covers hiding from the happiness police,” Meyer wrote in the caption with a black heart emoji.
Later that year, Stewart spoke about their relationship to Stern in a November 2019 interview.
“We’re both from L.A. and we really love L.A. We’re both kind of like, scumbags. We both felt like trolls as kids. We’re so similar but different. She’s a writer; she’s brilliant,” she said at the time.
At the time, Stewart said she couldn’t wait to propose to Meyer.
“Yeah, I want to be, like, somewhat reasonable about it, but I think good things happen fast,” Stewart said, adding then that she had a plan on how she’d propose. “I can’t say right now, because she’ll find out.” Her matrimony plans weren’t “tied to any weird sort of convention,” she added.
“It’s just, like, when you know, you know.”
