Lillian Barnhart | Obituary | The Daily Star

BOVINA CENTER – Lillian J. Barnhart, 92, of Bovina Center, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Robinson Terrace in Stamford.
Born on Dec. 25, 1929, in Bloomville, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Earla (Houghtaling) Gray.
She married Robert Barnhart at Cabin Hill Church on April 17, 1949, a union that lasted 65 years until his passing on Feb.10, 2015.
Lillian worked for the former Delaware County Infirmary and later for Delaware County 4-H in Hamden until her retirement.
She and Robert enjoyed camping and she also enjoyed crocheting and baking, making several wedding cakes over the years. Lillian’s greatest passion was her family, she was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother and great-grandmother, Lillian was the glue that bound her family.
She is survived by her children, Jean and Robert Little, Richard and Evelyn Barnhart, Deborah Tanner, Michael and Darlene Barnhart, Carol Barnhart and Dale and Kathy Barnhart; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor McKee and Virginia Parsons; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, at MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main St., Delhi, where a service will follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 23, in Bovina Cemetery.
