Married At First Sight bride Caitlin McConville has hit back at trolls who accused her of wearing ‘too much makeup’ to the Girls Nights on Tuesday’s episode.
The 27-year-old wore bright sparkly blue eyeshadow and faux lashes as she returned to the reunion.
Following the episode, some MAFS viewers criticised Caitlin’s dramatic makeup look, claiming it looked ‘ridiculous’.
‘Caitlin looks like she’s wearing drag make-up. And isn’t she supposed to be a make-up expert? #MAFSAU #MAFSAustralia,’ one troll wrote.
‘Caitlin that makeup looks ridiculous #caitlin #MAFSAustralia #mafsau,’ another cruel message read.

On Wednesday, Caitlin shared a natural makeup look selfie to Instagram and hit back at trolls for criticising her dramatic eyeshadow.
‘Some say less is more – and yes, we’re all entitled to our opinions,’ she began.
‘But I say, wear whatever and look however makes you feel confident, empowered and beautiful, regardless of what other people have to say.’
‘We are multifaceted human beings and there’s nothing wrong with embracing the many different versions of yourself.’
She continued: ‘In a world where people are too quick to tear others down, be the person who chooses instead, to lift others up.’

Meanwhile, Janelle Han settled her beef with her Married At First Sight co-star Claire Nomarhas after she kissed her TV husband Adam Seed and lied about it during the Girls Night.
The 28-year-old beauty influencer reunited with the rest of the cast during a wild girls’ night after choosing to leave the show when she found out Adam had cheated on her with Claire, 31.
When Janelle arrived at the party, Claire admitted that things were ‘a little bit awkward’ between them.
But she took on some advice from her father, who told her during Friends and Family Week ‘not to run away when you mess up’.
Claire went up to Janelle at the bar to face her and apologise.
‘I just want to say… I’m a million times sorry,’ she said.

‘When you see your apology versus Adam’s, you can see how genuine you are and how sorry you are that you hurt me and honestly I can’t ask for anything else,’ Janelle responded.
‘I don’t want to hate you, I think you are a kind person. So, no hate. No bad blood.’
