Mar 22 | Constance Spry OBE: The Martha Stewart of Her Day

Mary Beth Hayes, avid gardener and floral designer, will recap Constance Spry’s unconventional life (1886 – 1960) as a legendary British floral designer, teacher, and floral and cookery author, and much more. You’ll learn about her natural organic style design principles: these are still popular today. Among her many accolades, Ms Spry was responsible for Queen Elizabeth II and other members of royalty wedding flowers. The program ends with a demonstration of a Constance-Spry floral arrangement which will be raffled off to one lucky attendee.

Join us on March 22 at 7pm in the Murray-Kelly Room. Sponsored by the Burlington Garden Club
