Married At First Sight viewers have been left stunned by new bride Tayla Winter’s high-maintenance makeup routine.
The Hobart nurse, 27, appeared to put mascara on top of her false eyelashes in the most recent episode, which makeup artists would say is a ‘big no no’.
The bride recently entered the experiment alongside her groom Hugo Armstrong, 32, and another new couple, Evelyn Ellis, 26, and Rupert Budgen, 27.
Before their very first dinner party of the series, Tayla is seen touching up her already long and full eyelashes – which look like falsies – with mascara.
Then, in the car to the party, a close-up shot shows her fixing up her eyeshadow as remnants of mascara can be seen on her eyelids.

Commenting on Tayla’s makeup in a MAFS fan group, one viewer said: ‘I’m a lash artist and 150% believe that she put mascara on fake eyelashes… this is a MASSSSSIVE NO NO!! Oh dear…’
In her interview with the experts, the 27-year-old admitted she can be high maintenance, bad-tempered at times and picky with men, but still thinks she deserves to have her happy ending.
This showed in her first interactions with her husband Hugo, a Sydney-based IT executive, as she ordered him to sleep on the floor or couch for their honeymoon.

‘I would definitely say it is Tayla’s way or the highway,’ she said in a piece to camera.
Tayla admitted she’s not happy if she doesn’t get her way, and she is unwilling compromise with any man.
‘My control is quite extreme at times, it has impacted my relationships in the past. It can be anything from what we’re having to dinner,’ she said.
The two didn’t get off to a good start on their honeymoon as they argued about Tayla’s preference in men, as she said Hugo wasn’t the kind of guy she would normally go for.
