Marvin Ray Risenhoover, born in Yuma, Arizona September 23, 1943 to Jacob Daniel Risenhoover and Allene Westbrook Risenhoover.
Marvin was raised in Stigler, Oklahoma. He earned an Associate Degree from Connors State and a Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern State University in 1965. Marvin taught History, coached football, edited a newspaper, and later co-owned and operated two restaurants before retiring and raising cattle in Stigler.
Marvin just celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary with his wife Linda Gayle Risenhoover.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home, Randal and Stacy Risenhoover of Verdigris, OK, Rick and Jayme Risenhoover of Broken Arrow, OK., Chris and Melanie Risenhoover of Stigler, OK, and Craig and Darcy Risenhoover of Brighton, CO.
Marvin and Linda have 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Mallory Chapel in Stigler from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, January 26 and 27; with Family Visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Mallory Chapel in Stigler with Rev. Eric Stout. Interment will follow at Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
