With the weather heating up and our diaries littered with wedding invitations, it’s time to start shopping for a few wedding guest dresses – and who better to look for inspiration than the Duchess of Sussex?

One very memorable outfit of Meghan’s was the flirty white and blue floral print midi she wore for Prince Harry‘s cousin Celia McCorquodale’s Lincolnshire wedding back in 2018. The Oscar de la Renta gown features a draped wrap front, long sleeves and a tiered ruffle skirt.

If you’re in love with the design, which is the perfect combination of summery colours and warm sleeves, then you’re in luck because Reformation is selling a similar version for a fraction of the price.

While Duchess Meghan’s designer version retails for £4,120 (or £1,854 if you snap it up in the sale), the high street store has a ‘Winslow’ dress for just £285. It has the same blue china print and wrap bodice, but the Reformation design is a full maxi length with leg splits and an adjustable tie waist.

Take style tips from Meghan and pair the frock with a pretty white fascinator and matching high heeled Aquazurra pumps, which she originally wore to the evening reception of her own wedding one month earlier.

At the time, the royal bride was pictured wearing a high-neck, floor-length Stella McCartney dress, which she accessorised with Princess Diana’s Asprey aquamarine ring, thought to be a gift from Prince Harry.

The Duchess recycled her wedding shoes

The newlyweds took a ride in a silver blue Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero, which had a number plate reading “190518” in recognition of their wedding date. It was her second outfit of the day – she previously wore a bespoke Givenchy gown for her wedding ceremony and lunchtime reception.

The 40-year-old Duchess seems to know exactly what to wear for every occasion, including the best colours and styles to make a statement while making sure she doesn’t upstage the bride.

We’re still not over her Club Monaco colour-block midi dress at Charlie Van Straubenzee’s nuptials or the sheer Valentino black frock she wore to her fashion designer friend Misha Nonoo’s wedding. Need more inspiration? We’ve rounded up her best wedding guest dresses for you to shop this year.
