Miss Alexander and Eaves planning June 4 wedding at St. Andrew’s cathedral

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Heard Alexander of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Millie Rives Alexander, to Christian Andrew Eaves, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Arthur Eaves Jr. of Madison and the late Karen Lindley Eaves. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gerald Alton LeCroy of Franklin, Tenn. and the late Mr. LeCroy, the late Jan Blackwell LeCroy, and Mrs. Robert Heard Alexander of Greenville and the late Mr. Alexander. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Arthur Eaves of Madison, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Thomas Lindley of West Memphis, Ark.

Miss Alexander is a 2016 graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accountancy in 2020 from the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and served as the vice president of recruitment for the College Panhellenic Council. Miss Alexander then completed her master’s in accountancy at the University of Mississippi in 2021. She was presented by the Greenville Delta Debutante Club in 2017. Miss Alexander is associated with GranthamPoole PLLC in Oxford. 

Eaves is a 2016 graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. He received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Center for Manufacturing Excellence at the University of Mississippi in 2020, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He is currently in his second year of law school at the University of Mississippi where he is a staff editor on the Mississippi Law Journal and is a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on June 4 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral with a reception to follow at the Capital Club. After the wedding, they will make their home in Oxford.
