Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Lovitt announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Grace Lovitt, to Seth Roberts Male, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Barry Male of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Durwood Waldrop of Monroe, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Evans Lovitt of Springhill, La.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Joe Martin of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Male of Raymond.
Miss Lovitt is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is currently in her second year as a student at the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson.
Male is a graduate of Mississippi State University. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, where he served as president. He is a staff recruiter for Camp Ozark.
The couple will exchange vows on November 6 at Reed House at Live Oaks in Jackson, with a reception immediately following. After the wedding, the couple will be at home in Jackson.
