In a weird case that has come to light from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, a makeup artist has had an FIR lodged against her for allegedly ruining the bride’s makeup.
The bride claims that the artist did her makeup incorrectly. The bride’s relatives claim that when they complained to the beauty parlour owner, instead of solving their issue, they were threatened.
That was when the family decided to file a lawsuit against the beauty parlour owner.
A case has been registered at Kotwali police station

Following the family’s complaint, a case has been registered by the Kotwali police against the beauty parlour operator.
As per reports, Kotwali police station in-charge Anil Gupta said that the bride-to-be’s wedding was scheduled to take place on December 3. For the wedding, the bride’s family contacted Monica Pathak, who is the director of Monica Makeup Studio in Jabalpur, in order to book a makeup artist for the wedding night for the bride.
In response to the booking, Monica herself spoke with the family and booked a deal for three and a half thousand rupees. However, when the day came, Monica didn’t show up but other staff members from the parlour did, and allegedly ruined her makeup.
Apparently, the bride called Monica and objected to the makeup; she also apparently used degrading cast slurs and abused her.

Now, the police have opened an investigation into Monica after a welfare association called Sen Welfare Association learned about this, and they got angry too.
Along with the bride, the office bearers and members of the association went to Kotwali police station on Tuesday and filed a case against Monika Pathak.
Station in-charge Anil Gupta informed that the bride’s and Sen community’s complaint about the makeup artists is being taken seriously and Pathak will soon be questioned in this matter.
