Myleene Klass has revealed her young daughters are keen to “give me away” at her upcoming wedding.

The star, 44, became engaged to her partner, PR executive Simon Motson, at home in September 2020.

Speaking about plans for her upcoming nuptials with The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, she shared that her daughters Ava, 14, and Hero, 11, were heavily involved in the decision-making.

The mother-of-three said: “We’re right in the middle of it all, because Ava’s got 12 pages of Pinterest images.

“Hero has four costume changes, from: ‘I’m going to show up as Wonder Woman and be coming down from the ceiling,’ to: ‘I’m gonna wear a white tux.'”

Klass, who also has a two-year-old son Apollo, joked: “I’m only probably going to get to choose the dress.”

The musician added that her daughters want to walk her down the aisle, adding: “They have decided they want to give me away – that’s what they want to do.”

“They said: ‘You’re our mother.’ It’s lovely. I’m just letting them choose that role.”

Klass revealed the delay to the big day had been because the pandemic “put a spanner in things”, and that the couple have still yet to decide a date and location

Her 47-year-old fiance proposed with a 7.6-carat emerald-cut black diamond in their garden shed, having done it up to look like the private member’s club where they had their first date.

The couple have been together for six years, but went public with their relationship in 2017.

Klass was previously married to the father of her two daughters, Graham Quinn, from 2011 to 2013.
