COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Naples Police responded to the Hilton Hotel on 9th Street North early Sunday morning, after reports of a fight between a bride and groom. The fight happened right after their wedding ceremony Saturday night.
According to NPD, police arrived and the bride’s gown was covered in blood and had a torn strap. The bride, Stefanie Ginas, was also covered in blood and crying.
According to Ginas, she got into a fight with her new husband, John Gerhard, over the Gerhard’s brother.
Ginas told police she started the fight, and was the one to blame. Gerhard told police his bride head butted him and broke his nose.
Both the bride and groom refused medical treatment, though there was blood on both their faces and throughout their hotel room.
Both Ginas and Gerhard admitted fault in the brawl, and they were both arrested.
