Novak Djokovic celebrates his Wimbledon win at Champions Dinner with his glam wife Jelena

It was double the celebrations for Novak Djokovic on Sunday night as he headed to the Wimbledon Champions Dinner.

The tennis ace marked his seventh Wimbledon title and fourth in a row after beating Nick Kyrgios on Centre Court, while the day coincided with his eighth wedding anniversary.

Novak was joined by his wife Jelena at the glitzy dinner, who looked gorgeous in a pink mini dress.

Novak had changed out of his tennis whites into a navy suit as he posed with Jelana, who accessorised her pink mini with a cream Chanel bag and heels.

Novak came from behind to beat tennis bad boy Nick Kyrgios on Sunday.

Unseeded Australian Kyrgios veered from laser-focussed to horribly distracted, arguing at times with his box, the umpire and the crowd.

Amidst it all, No1 seed Djokovic produced a display of exceptional consistency, making only 17 unforced errors in three hours and one minute, taking the title 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6.

The 35-year-old Serb now has 21 Grand Slam titles, one more than Roger Federer and one fewer the Rafael Nadal.

After his win, the sportsman kissed wife Jelena who had been cheering him on enthusiastically from the stands.

And BBC host Sue Barker couldn’t help reminding Novak that it was a special day for two reasons, explaining:

‘The dinner with Nick might have to wait as it’s your anniversary today. You will have other plans today.’

The star, who had just banked £2m thanks to his win, replied saying, ‘I am going to buy you flowers after this. You keep reminding me big things. I will be in big trouble if I forget.’
