Wedding Season is a 2022 Netflix romantic comedy directed by Tom Dey, which released in August 2022 and was well received by audiences upon its premiere (currently sitting at 87% on Rotten Tomatoes). The movie focused on Asha, a finance worker who is not interested in falling in love, much to the dismay of her parents. As wedding season approach for her and those around her, she convinces another single man to pretend to be her boyfriend. Pallavi Sharda
Pallavi Sharda plays Asha, the main character of Wedding Season, who does not have any desire to get married. As such, she tricks everyone by using Ravi as a decoy, with whom she pretends to be in a relationship. Pallavi is known for her role of Prama in the 2016 movie Lion with Dev Patel. She has also starred in the Netflix series The One and ITV’s Beecham House. Suraj Sharma
Suraj Sharma plays Ravi, who is Asha’s fake date during wedding season. Veena Sood plays Suneeta, Asha’s mother who is on a mission to get her daughter married.
