Q: What product or services does your business provide?
A: The Poinsett Bride is a full-service wedding and formal events boutique in downtown Greenville, offering wedding dresses, accessories and veils, and dresses for mothers, flower girls and special occasions. We offer in-house bridal gown alterations and partner with a trusted team for other dress alterations.
Q: What inspires you and why?
A: I am inspired by the talented women who work here – 10 women who complement each other’s strengths. We established a strong camaraderie quickly. Becoming a store owner and managing a team is not easy, so it was imperative that I create a collaborative culture that recognizes the strengths of each team member.
Q: What advice do you have for other women in business?
A: Don’t be afraid to take a leap of faith. Know your strengths and where you will shine, even if it feels unfamiliar. I pursued a passion, made a career change, and it changed my life. I was confident in my abilities but wasn’t sure how it might turn out. I now know this is where I was always meant to be.
