PR mane George Regan’s wedding brings Boston, Massachusetts big-wigs to Cape Cod

Public relations maven George Regan married Elizabeth Akeley in a Cape Cod ceremony officiated by Gov. Charlie Baker with prayers from Patriots owner Bob Kraft.

U.S. Sen. Ed Markey and entrepreneurs from Herb Chambers to John Fish and celebrated author and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin were among the estimated 400 guests who gathered in Osterville.

The bride arrived by tug boat to start a ceremony that featured live music which filled the air into the evening. It was as if Boston relocated to the Cape for a day.
