Celebrations are in order!
Bachelor Nation fan favorite couple and new parents Raven Gates Gottschalk and Adam Gottschalk got married one year ago this week.
So this week in Bachelor Nation history, we’re celebrating these two and sending our biggest congrats on their first year of marriage!
And their first year of marriage was an exciting one because the two welcomed their first child together, Gates Gottschalk, on January 18.
As fans recall, Raven and Adam met on Season 4 of “Bachelor in Paradise” back in 2017. While the two left the show as a couple, they didn’t get engaged until June 2019.
The couple faced some major wedding changes and delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but they officially tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in April 2021.
Their wedding took place at The Olana, a luxe estate outside of Dallas, Texas, where they currently reside.
Shortly after they tied the knot, the couple spoke to People about their special day.
“Adam did such a beautiful job writing his vows,” said Raven, noting that hearing Adam’s self-penned vows was her “favorite part” of their wedding. “It was so special. And to have just the people there who will be with us for everything was so intimate and spiritual.”

Adam added, “Raven looked so beautiful. I was an absolute mess, sobbing and crying.”
The duo told People that guests enjoyed dinner at tables overflowing with white flowers by Something Pretty Floral and food was provided by Blue Fire Catering. According to Adam, their meal was inspired by Raven’s upbringing in Arkansas.

And while the COVID restrictions allowed for only 20 family members and close friends to be in attendance, Raven said, “I couldn’t have imagined it any other way. We couldn’t have asked for anything to work out more perfectly than it did. We feel so grateful.”
Happy first anniversary to Raven and Adam and congrats again on becoming new parents! We’ll take any excuse to celebrate their adorable family.
