Rococo Wedding Inspiration With a Flutter Sleeve Gown ⋆ Ruffled

Go ahead and put this gallery from Vivid Symphony on your short list of Rococo wedding inspiration because it. is. everything. Ornamental walls, ceilings and chandeliers were punctuated by bright summer blooms and custom heraldry in this German chateau fete. And we adore the way the graceful, femme and flirty bridal fashion was on par with the scene! Magnolias on Silk composed wild floral pillars to climb the floor-to-ceiling windows as the ceremony backdrop, and the result was a rococo wedding dream you simply cannot miss.

Lightness Of Being

From the Photographer, Vivid Symphony: For the location, we chose Nischwitz Castle, an impressive Rococo-style palace complex in Nischwitz, a small town in Saxony/Germany not far away from Leipzig.

Lightness Of Being

The glitter of jewels and the shining faces of dancers, an orchestra playing classical music, breath-taking evening dresses and coattails, fiery waltzes, a furtive kiss and the snap of a fan. Don’t you feel like being transferred back in time, when you look at the pictures of the location? We don’t know how it felt back then in the 18th century when this castle was built, but with the design concept for this shooting we not only tried to reflect the colors and the architecture of this stunning palace but also capture the mood of the grand balls that ones might took place in the halls of Nischwitz Castle. Classy, playful and elegant were the adjectives to describe overall mood we wanted to create.

The idea of a colorful vivid theme and the color concept, that creates a beautiful play of different colors is based on the decoration of the garden room. The walls show frescoes like the Liberation of Andromeda, Europe, Syrenen, a river god, Icarus and Daedalus and different sea deities. They are painted with a limited color palette using mint, blush and grey tones. The ceiling instead hosts a very colorful and expressive fresco. The colors of the interior design are mirrored in the color palette of the design concept. We used white for the plasterwork as base color and combined it with blush, coral, dusty pink and golden accents for a luxurious touch.

The table decoration is very elegant to fit to the luxurious theme. The tableware we chose is from the Ornament collection by Portuguese porcelain manufacturer Vista Alegre, who is well know for its sophisticated design. The pattern of the collection is inspired by the ceilings of the Vista Alegre Palace, which is crested with white plaster. The subtlety of the white relief on the plates perfectly reflects the plasterwork that can also be found at Nischwitz palace and with is delicate shape and unique details the tableware graces the table. The small golden candleholders with the thin candlesticks and the decorative golden cutlery add just the right amount of classiness.

Flowers included in the design are English garden roses, white and coral peonies, foxglove, and Japanese ranunculus. White tableware is combined with golden accents.

The styling of the bride is held very subtle and natural. Her make-up enhances her natural beauty and striking features. The wedding dress by Papilio is playful, feminine and classy. The wedding cake by Suesse Verzauberung, which means sweet enchantment in German is a 3tier classic design that includes fine details like a painting of one of the wall frescoes of the location and white plasterwork made of sugar.
