- Fashion director of Kleinfelds Bridal and host of TLC’s ‘Say Yes to The Dress’ Randy Fenoli helps brides choose the perfect dress for their special day.
- However, it isn’t always easy especially when brides choose a dress he thinks doesn’t compliment their physique.
- Although he does accept their decision, he still finds it hard to sleep at night afterwards.
Host of TLC’s say yes to dress, Randy Fenoli recently spoke to Insider ahead of the 20th season of the show. The host says his job comes with a lot of challenges and one of the challenges is watching brides choose a dress that he thinks is wrong for them. In the show he helps brides choose wedding dresses based on the brief the brides give him.

“Choosing a wedding dress is so personal and intimate. It’s really a bonding experience when you think about it,” he says.
When picking a dress, Randy focuses on dresses that he thinks would be perfect for the bride, however the bride always ends up with a dress that is different from what Randy has imagined.

“I try to get them in the dress and show them, ‘Look at what this dress does for your figure, and look how it brings out your eyes. And they put the next one on are like, ‘Oh, I love this,’ and start crying. And I’m like, Oh my God, this is disaster. It is really tough, but if the bride’s happy and she feels beautiful, that is what’s most important,” he says.

Although he’s aware and accepts that the end decision isn’t his to make, he still finds it hard to sleep at night. “That’s when I have to really realise this dress makes her feel beautiful, so I can’t change what she feels and I just have to let it go. But it’s hard to sleep some night,” he adds. Randy is also a fashion director at Kleinfeld Bridal.
