Married At First Sight Bride Melissa Sheppard has pleaded for viewers to stop bullying her after being branded as the ‘sex-crazed’ bride on the show.
The 41-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday after recent episodes showed her relationship with new husband Josh White was on the rocks – and most viewers were on his side.
She posted a photo which read: ‘We all love watching MAFS and following the journey of the participant’s in Australia’s biggest social experiment.

‘This is a space to celebrate our couples, support and encourage them.
‘Negative, offensive or personal comments against participants, experts, or fellows MAFS viewers will not be tolerated.’
She went on to say she has been hurt from the conversations being had about her.

‘Say no to bullying. Before you assume, learn the facts. Before you judge, understand why,’ she said.

Josh said he felt like a ‘sex object’ after Melissa confessed to having sized up his ‘big hammer’ based on observing his feet size.
Then during confessions week, Josh was disappointed further when his wife failed to open up to him on an emotional level.

With tears in his eyes, Josh told producers he was disappointed that once again all his bride brought up was sex, despite him opening up about his crippling loneliness.
She said while he was ‘good in bed’, they weren’t having sex as much as she wanted to.
When he gently asked her if she was putting too much emphasis on sex, Melissa replied that if he wasn’t willing to ‘keep up’ there was ‘a lot of fish in the sea that would be happy to take [his] place’.
