The Newmans and the Lockes are all convening in Tuscany, Italy next week for the wedding of Victora Nicole Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Marcus Locke (Richard Burgi), which per the wedding invitation will take place on Thursday, October 14. However, since the wedding encompasses multiple episodes preceding the big celebration, fans of another couple will soon get to see their favorites back on screen beginning Tuesday, October 12.
As first reported in August, Hunter King and Michael Mealor are returning to “Y&R” as Summer Newman and Kyle Abbott, respectively, better known as #Skyle to their fans. Not only are the duo invited guests to the wedding as Summer is Victoria’s niece and Kyle is the biological father of Ashland’s son, Harrison, they are also living not too far from where the nuptials are taking place. The pair decided to make Milan, Italy their home base as Summer took a job there over the summer (pun intended) and Kyle has been running things at Jabot remotely.
In a recent promo highlighting next week’s shows, Kyle and Summer surprise their family, particularly Summer’s mom, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), as they greet everyone at the pre-wedding reception.
