Southern Charm Madison LeCroy Not Filming Or Inviting Co-Stars To Wedding

Madison LeCroy will not film or invite her fellow cast members to her wedding to Brett Randle, whom she’ll marry after six months of dating.

Madison joined Southern Charm in season 6, which aired in 2019. At the time, she was in an on-again, off-again relationship with co-star Austen Kroll. The following season documented their volatile relationship, which included many explosive fights and even a blow-out over cheating and a threesome. However, after around two years of dating intermittently, they finally called it quits in December 2020. The two were subsequently linked to another former couple: Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari. Austen and Kristen sparked rumors of a romance after being spotted together in Charleston. Shortly afterwards, Madison shared screenshots of Jay pursuing her via text. However, this was not the last time Madison made headlines for her involvement in another couple’s relationship. In early 2021, Madison was alleged to have played a part in the breakup between Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez, who had been engaged for two years.

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Madison held nothing back regarding Southern Charm’s involvement in her wedding. According to her, there will “not be a film crew” at her wedding. Madison stated her intentions to keep her nuptials a bit more private. “I’m gonna try to keep the wedding pretty intimate and about family. So, I will be showing some sneak peeks of that, but overall, you’ll just have to wait until after the wedding day,” she said. Madison also mentioned that because her wedding will be “super small” she won’t “be able to invite the whole cast, unfortunately, but it’s OK.” Madison had previously touched on this subject during an Instagram Live some weeks ago. Her decision to keep the wedding off of Southern Charm comes as a surprise given that for the past three years she has shared many intimate aspects of her life on the show. However, Brett is apparently much more private and prefers to maintain his personal life off-screen. “It’s kind of not his thing. It takes a special person to put their life out there on television. So, I respect that and am trying to protect him at all costs,” she said, suggesting it’s unlikely that viewers will get to see her fiancé on Southern Charm

As of December 2021, filming wrapped on Southern Charm season 8. The upcoming season will feature mainstays Craig Conover, Shep Rose, Kathryn Dennis, and Austen Kroll. As in previous seasons, it’s reported that Whitney Sudler-Smith will return in a recurring capacity. Naomie Olindo will also return in a part-time role, after skipping out on last season. In addition to Madison, who joined the main cast in season 7, Leva Bonaparte and John Pringle will return. Reportedly, newcomers for season 8 include Venita Aspen, Olivia Flowers, Marcia Hobbs , and Kathryn’s now ex boyfriend, Chleb Ravenell.

The hit Charleston-based reality show has never had a shortage of drama. Since its premiere in 2014, viewers have followed the ups and downs of many Southern Charm couples; these include the highly volatile relationship between Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn, which produced two children and involved significant legal intervention such as custody battles. Craig and Naomie’s long history will likely be a matter of discussion in the upcoming season, considering he is currently in a relationship with Paige DeSorbo from Summer House. Finally, with the Austen and Madison saga supposedly over, it will be compelling for viewers to get a look at how they moved past the intensity of their time together.
