STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Featured in this week’s Best Dressed photo gallery are scenes from the glorious wedding of Krystal Furia and Nicholas Petino on Feb. 5, 2022.
The nuptial Mass was held at Our Lady Star of Sea and an elegant reception followed at Estate at Florentine Gardens, in River Vale, N.J.
“My wedding was everything I ever dreamed of,” said the blushing bride, an alumna of Manalapan High School and Adelphi University. “I felt like a princess. We are truly blessed by everyone that had attended to support us and share this special day with us.”
The new Mrs. Petino has been a registered nurse at NYU Langone L.I. hospital, specializing in orthopedics and bariatric surgeries for over seven years. She is the daughter of her mother, Grace Mininni, and stepfather, Rocco Mininni, of Manalapan, N.J.
The groom is a graduate from Moore Catholic HS, and SUNY Plattsburgh. He is the son of his mother, Julie Stock and stepfather Cliff Stock of Huguenot, and his father Peter Petino and stepmother Joyce Petino of Metuchen, N.J. He has been an FDNY firefighter for 15 years and a professional D.J. for E-Squared Productions.
“The wedding went absolutely fantastic,” said the groom. “Our friends and family had the time of their lives. Picking the right vendors are at the top of the list for a successful event and everyone we had chosen went above and beyond for us.”
The couple will make their home in Huguenot.
Krystal’s gown was designed by world-renowned bridal and evening-wear designer Pnina Tornai, synonymous with luxurious, hand-crafted couture gowns with exquisite crystal details. In addition, she has appeared on 19 seasons of TLC’s leading bridal reality show ‘Say Yes to the Dress.’
