Suzanna Grace Wewers Samuel Christopher Fletcher

Suzanna Grace Wewers and Samuel Christopher Fletcher were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, in Christ the King Catholic Church. Monsignor Lawrence Frederick, chaplain at Mt. Saint Mary High School, officiated.

Parents of the bride are Drs. Julie and Darin Wewers of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Molly and Denis Wewers and Suzanne Brothers, all of Little Rock, and the late Danny “Buzz” May of Bryant.

Parents of the groom are Lisa and Chris Fletcher of North Little Rock. He is the grandson of Judy and Frank Fletcher, also of North Little Rock, Patricia Wofford of Sherwood and Bill Wofford of Fort Smith.

Ceremony music was by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra String Quartet.

The bride, who walked down the aisle with her father, wore an ivory crepe fit-and-flare gown. The bodice had a high scoop neckline and cap sleeves and the skirt extended to a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of garden roses, cafe au lait dahlias, rust chrysanthemum and eucalyptus.

Molly Wewers of Little Rock and Kate Wewers of Fayetteville, both sisters of bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Ellie Bilger, Hannah Breau, Reagan Broach, Hayley Ferguson, Hope Ritchey and Casey Mynatt, all of Little Rock; Brett Ironside of Dallas; Courtney Neff of Kansas City, Mo., and Emily Wish of Conway. They wore Atlantic blue crepe chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of toffee roses, pale pink pom pom dahlias and white chrysanthemums.

Flower girl was Willa Fletcher of Fayetteville, niece of bridegroom.

Serving as best man was Tyler Landrum of North Little Rock. Groomsmen were Austin Blair, Austin Hall, Alex Heffington and Todd Touchstone, all of Little Rock; Will Chandler and Ethan McGee, both of Bentonville; Jacob Davis of North Little Rock; Adam Fletcher, Hunter Kitchens and Blake Taylor, all of Fayetteville; Jacob Fletcher of Cabot and Ocala, Fla.; and McNeil Killough of Dallas. Guests were seated by cousins Nelson Pierce of Little Rock; Graham Plummer of Fayetteville; Carter Reynolds of Jacksonville; Liam Vlasimsky of Dallas and Luke Wewers of Memphis.

A reception was held at Wyndham Riverfront Hotel. The ballroom had a custom dance floor and was decorated with arrangements of wedding flowers. Music was by the band Tyler Kinchen and the Right Pieces from New Orleans.

The bride graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She graduated with honors and a law degree from William H. Bowen School of Law and is a lawyer at Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard.

The groom is also a UA graduate with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He was a member of Kappa Sigma. He also received a law degree from the Bowen School of Law and is a lawyer at Fuqua Campbell.

The couple will reside in Little Rock after a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
