When Taylor Lautner and Taylor Dome were married at Epoch Estate Winery on November 11, 2022, they walked down the aisle in style. In an exclusive interview with Vogue on November 15, 2022, the newlyweds shared all the details behind their wedding looks.
The registered nurse wore a Winnie Couture wedding dress with an embellished bodice, a lace skirt, a thigh-high slit, and a sheer embroidered cape for the big day. However, the ensemble wasn’t what the bride originally envisioned for her nuptials. “When I tried on my dress for the first time, it had these beautiful lace capes coming off the shoulders, and I was in awe,” she tells Vogue. “I didn’t think I wanted a dress like I ended up picking, but I felt like a princess when I put it on, and that’s how I knew it was the one.”
What drew Dome to the dress were the butterfly accents, which had personal significance to her. “Aside from the growth, transformation, and comfort that butterflies symbolize, my nana and I have always had a deep love for butterflies,” she says to the outlet. “My nana’s mom passed away at a young age, and she always told my nana she would come back as a white butterfly to watch over and protect her. To this day, my nana and I always have white butterflies around. The day before the wedding, I was out at lunch, and a white butterfly literally landed on me. I was blown away and felt so comforted.” Dome stuck with the theme by wearing butterfly earrings from Susan Saffron Jewelry. She completed her look with a blown-out hairstyle, natural makeup, and strappy nude heels.
For his part, the Twilight star walked down the aisle in a black custom Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, which he paired with a white shirt and a black bow tie. After trading vows, the duo changed their outfits for the reception, according to Vogue. For the next phase of festivities, Dome wore a sequined dress by Retrofête and high-top sneakers, while Lautner chose another Dolce & Gabbana number—but in velvet.
Another stylish part of their ensembles? The bling, of course. During their sunset ceremony, the couple exchanged weddings bands from Ring Concierge Fine Jewelry, E! News reports. The groom slipped on a 14-carat yellow gold ring with a beveled edge, rounded interior, matte finish, and high-profile edges, the publication says. The bride sealed her fate in a classic oval-cut diamond eternity band, which was set in platinum.
The jewelry company reveals that the pair each has a second set of wedding bands in their collection. Lautner’s second is similar to his first, but it also features white gold. Dome’s second ring is a criss-cross diamond band, which complements the 10-carat diamond engagement ring from Ring Concierge Fine Jewelry that she received when Lautner popped the question on November 11, 2021.
The couple’s California winery wedding was a magical day for the duo. “I could’ve been anywhere marrying my best friend and the love of my life, but the setting of the ceremony definitely made the whole thing feel surreal,” Dome reflects. “The sunset over the mountains exactly when we said our ‘I dos’ made it feel like a dream.”
