Teresa Giudice celebrated her 50th birthday without brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga on Tuesday’s premiere of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey.
The season 13 premiere episode titled New Friends, Same Jersey opened with a preview showing upcoming family drama including Joe and Teresa’s fiance Louie Ruelas getting ready to physically fight each other.
‘My wife’s not in the f*****g wedding, f*** you. Her family’s not in the wedding, f*** them. I’m gonna break your f*****g balls,’ Joe yelled at Louie.
‘Go ahead,’ Louie said.
‘Right f***ing now!,’ Joe hollered as he pounded the table.

Louie in another preview clip got fed up with Joe and chased after him.
‘I’m gonna punch him in the face ’cause I got nothing to f***ing lose,’ Louie said as Joe turned and squared off against him.
‘She’s always wanted to keep my brother and I apart. She got her wish,’ Teresa said in a voice-over as she was shown at her wedding with Louie that Joe and Melissa did not attend.
Melissa, 43, at the start of the episode told Joe, 43, that she was planning a roller skating 1980s party to kick off Memorial Day weekend.
‘Anybody who knows Melissa Gorga knows that ’80s is my vibe,’ Melissa said in a confessional.
Melissa said that she invited Teresa because she didn’t want to leave anybody out.
‘You get left out,’ Joe said referencing Teresa’s decision to keep Melissa out of her wedding party.
‘Picking one person who is your only brother’s wife and saying, ”I’m gonna exclude you,” is a big f*** you,’ Melissa said in a confessional.

Melissa told Joe that she texted Teresa that she was fine not being in the wedding and that it was ‘all good.’
‘And she didn’t answer you,’ Joe said.
Melissa in a confessional said she ‘all of a sudden’ got a text from Teresa inviting them to her 50th birthday ‘on an island with her closest people to her.’

‘You don’t even want us at your wedding,’ Joe said.
‘Really? We haven’t heard from you in two months. I don’t think so,’ Melissa said in a confessional.
Teresa was then shown gushing about her birthday flowers and balloons as Louie started grilling and making pizzas for her birthday party.

Louie’s son Louie Jr, 18, and Teresa’s daughters Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, were at the party and his parents Iris and Louie Sr soon arrived.
Teresa talked to Louie’s sisters Veronica and Jennifer about getting bridesmaid dresses.
Joe and Melissa meanwhile were shown at home discussing Teresa.

‘What bothers me the most is the way she treated you,’ Joe said.
‘She just admitted what we really are, which is not close. And she’s like, ”I have my people here now”,’ Melissa said.
‘That’s why I can’t answer the phone. I couldn’t go to her birthday party. I am just so disappointed, it’s like, sad,’ Joe said.

Louie back at the party pointed out the flowers that Joe and Melissa sent Teresa.
‘I am hurt that they’re not here,’ Teresa said.
Joe in a flashback was shown at last season’s reunion storming off after Teresa repeatedly called him a ‘b**** boy’.

Teresa during a birthday dinner was gifted jewelry from her daughters and Louie Jr and noted that she told her girls earlier that all she wanted was for them to not fight and love each other.

The season premiere also featured the introduction of new cast members Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda, while Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler joined the cast as ‘Friends of the Housewives’.

The 80s-theme roller skating party was a hit except for unresolved tension between Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin.
Teresa during the roller skating party spoke with Margaret Josephs, 55, and invited her over to resolve their differences.
Margaret and her husband Joe Benigno visited Teresa and Louie and after a rough start they eventually agreed to work on being better friends after Teresa delivered a rare apology.

Dolores invited everyone over for a calendar shoot featuring the men as part of her charity work.
She overheard Jennifer talking about her at the photo shoot and confronted her about it.
‘You know what? You and I don’t agree on what a friend is,’ Dolores said.
