Teresa Giudice has finally addressed Joe and Melissa Gorga’s absence at her wedding. The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG got real about her brother and sister-in-law’s decision to skip her wedding to Luis Ruelas.

Teresa, 50, reacted to Joe and Melissa’s absence from her wedding, and she seems to be taking it in stride. The couple skipped her nuptials due to their years-long feud becoming “toxic.”

The Bravo personality addressed the issue on her Namaste B$tches podcast. On the Wednesday, August 17 episode of the talk session, the TV star told her co-host Melissa Pfeister:

“Listen, I found out a few days before my wedding that they weren’t coming, and I’m totally fine with it. The way that everything played out with my wedding, everything that happened is the way it was supposed to be.”

The mom-of-four added for good measure that she was all about the “good energy.” This included having guests who wanted to be at her wedding ceremony. The reality star’s comments echo what a source told Us Weekly two days after her and Ruelas’ August 6 nuptials.

“Teresa was given a day’s notice about them not attending, so it wasn’t like she was blindsided the day of. She moved on with her wedding and didn’t let it ruin her happy day.”

As for the feud between the siblings and Teresa’s sister-in-law, the insider revealed that the trio had a “blowout fight,” which resulted in “Joe and Melissa [making] a last-minute decision to not attend Teresa’s wedding.”

Another source revealed that the argument had to do with the Celebrity Apprentice alum “pushing” a rumor about Melissa’s alleged infidelity.

Joe, 42, believes that his sister “continues to attack Melissa, and … isn’t standing for it anymore.” On Thursday, August 11, episode of her On Display podcast, Melissa, 43, shared some bits on the issue. She noted that although she could not reveal the “exact details,” there were “plenty of reasons” why she and Joe found it “strange” to attend the wedding.

Joe also noted that although skipping the wedding “was one of the hardest days of my life, “it was all on her [Teresa].” Prior to their “blowout fight,” the real estate developer said he was “so excited” about his sister’s upcoming nuptials that he cried when she got engaged in October 2021.
