Elaborate Wedding & Event Planner was founded in 2013. CEO Christina Joiner had the idea to start the business after she hired a wedding planner for her wedding and saw what the planner did.
“It made me realize this is what I want to do. I like making people happy” Joiner said.
Joiner said she believes it is important to pay attention to her clients’ needs and execute exactly what they want, down to every last detail.
“I’m very picky when I do stuff. I have to go over it again and again until it seems right to me,” Joiner said.
Joiner’s attention to detail is why she handcrafts all the decorations for her events. Everything she provides to her customers is custom made. She said even though it is a lot of work, it is worth it to customize everything because it makes every event unique.
“It’s a lot, but that’s the quality I give. I make every event feel special,” Joiner said.
